Our care service and team of welfare staff offer support and guidance to help you continue to live as independently and healthily as possible, whilst empowering you as an individual, adapting our care and support to meet individuality.
Everyone receiving our service will receive high-quality care and support from our welfare team that is flexible, consistent, reliable, and above all, responsive to changing needs. The Registered Manager and our welfare team will discuss your wishes to develop a care plan with you. When we have agreed this, we will arrange an agreement before the care package begins. This detailed plan will outline how we will support you and when. We will regularly talk to you and, if you wish, your family about how the team are supporting you at a review. This will make sure you are involved and the plan in place is up to date to meet your needs and wishes. We always ensure that you are involved in decisions made about your care and we will reflect this in your care plan.
Our Team
Our team of welfare staff are led by our Registered Manager, our Deputy Manager and Care Coordinator. We have an excellent team of long-standing caring and compassionate staff who are qualified, experienced, and knowledgeable in how best to support you.
We carefully choose and recruit our team through a safer recruitment programme whilst providing learning and development needed to enable them to carry out their role. We interview with a value-based approach to ensure our staff work to our values and high standards. Our team will provide you with sensitive and flexible care, whilst maintaining your privacy, dignity, independence, and control over your own life.

Our welfare team and our wider teams always work in partnership with advocates, family, friends, and other professionals, including GPs, Community Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech Therapists, who might also be involved in addressing the needs of those we support. We work through co-production to ensure we all work together to support you to meet your needs and wishes.
Alongside working with community professionals, we currently enjoy working with many other local organisations. We chair the Winchester Older Person’s Partnership, are members of the Hampshire Care Association and often hold the Hampshire County Council Steady and Strong classes. We have a strong working partnership with local organisations including Play to the Crowd, Fusion Choir, and the Winchester Hard of Hearing club.
